FortAwesome: Giving You The Finger

I have decided to leave my job at Ambit and return to Merck. In New Jersey. Yeah!!!

So, in just 4 short weeks, it will be "bye bye, san diego" and "hello, New Jersey." Thomas is 15 months old now, and running out of space quick. The move will bring us closer to family (mostly Brit's family and my brother in Manhattan) as well as put us in a much more realistic housing market (half the cost, twice the space). I sound like Jeff all of a sudden. Hey, he moved shortly after Sophie was born. Funny how that works.

At any rate, Merck has welcomed me back with open arms, big huge frickin' arms, saying get here ASAP. It was an offer we couldn't afford to pass up. So, my last day at Ambit will be the 15th of September, 3 weeks to pack, move, and say farewell, and I start at Merck Rahway on the 6th of October.

Can't wait to see you all at Rodger's wedding!

Rahway? Really? Have fun with that.

On the plus side, I'll actually know someone the next time they decide to send me out there for months at a time.

That's what everyone says. But I won't be living in Rahway. That would be awful. I'll only be working there.

Umm... where you planning on living that's all that much better and a reasonable commute?

Congrats! Vanessa and I are presently in Maine until late December. There's s small chance we might venture to Princeton to visit her sister. Will you be nearby?

We'll be about 20 minutes South of Princeton.
